MTM Bridging to the Community

Sponsorships and Donations for Youth Recreation
Mr. Russell made a generous donation to the Rucker Sports Complex who the City of Madison relies on to provide all city activities to youngsters in the community. He provided all lights to the complex so games would go on even after the sun went down. The donation consisted of four light towers to cover four sports fields.

Mr. Russell sponsors through Midwest Tube Mills four AAU Basketball teams so all youth can benefit without additional cost to parents. This year Mr. Russell and Midwest Tube Mills donated all the uniforms to the Post #9 American Legion Baseball team which serves as the All Star team for the Madison Area. He also donated all the chain link fencing and a lawn machine so the field could be properly maintained.

Mr. Russell truly cares about the Madison community and likes to give his time as a coach and financial support so no child is left behind due to financial hardship.

MTM feels promoting youth is essential to creating productive healthy children, the workforce of the next generation:

MTM is the proud sponsor of the Madison Cubs Marching Band, Newspaper, Yearbook, Academic Decathlon, Wrestling Team, Cheerleaders, and Soccer Teams.

Performing Arts Sponsorship
MTM is sponsoring the Madison Chautauqua Festival of Art for the Madison Chautauqua Performing Arts. The Festival runs from September 23rd through the 24th. For more information, visit www.madisonchautauqua.com.

Ruby Award from United Way
At the United Way Kick Off Banquet on 9/11/06, the United Way celebrated 53 years of caring and presented MTM and its employees with the Ruby Award for helping the people of our community.

Mary Beth Boone, MTM Marketing Director was presented the award by the United Way Fund Drive Committee.

Swimming Pool Open
With the help of the Russell Family Foundation, a number of anonymous donations and the generosity of area businesses and Jefferson County residents, the pool will be open for the rest of the summer.

More Involvement
Mr. Russell also sits on the Board of the Lide Wide Boys Club and the Salvation Army.
