Swimming Pool Open

From Town Talk Newsletter

With the help of the Russell Family Foundation, a number of anonymous donations and the generosity of area businesses and Jefferson County residents, the pool will be open for the rest of the summer.

Jendy's Pizza will donate $2.00 for every large pizza bought for the week of July 2nd through July 8th. Madison Chemical has donated 3 containers of hydrochloric acid.

A big thanks to all that donated.

The Hanover Pool is offering swim lessons. The dates, times, and forms are available at the Hanover Pool office.

Special thanks to Community Foundation. The Park received 2 grants. The first grant is for playground equipment to be placed at Rainbow Park. This will give residents on the North side of Hwy. 56/62 a play area without crossing the highway. The second grant was received to purchase water aerobic equipment. Water aerobics will be offered in July.

If you are interested in getting your GED, the Hanover Park will be hosting classes again in the fall. To register fro this free class, please call 866-2131 ext. 26.

"Take one - Leave one" book shelves is open.

Stop in, check out the selection. All we ask is that you bring a book if you take one.
